Has it really been that long?

It amazes me that it's been very nearly a year since our little family went from 3 to 4. Unlike the first year with Linsey, where I was dedicated and sent out an email update once a week plus photos, I've pretty much fallen off the radar. Linsey's blog is now 2 years out of date and with Nick, it just didn't make sense to start updating it now. So here we are, much, much later, considerably tireder (is that even a word?) and hopefully at least a bit wiser.

A general update to bring everyone up to speed.

Linsey is 3.

Linsey loves...
- Soccer (yeah, we're not sure where she gets it either)
- Jumping
- Tickles. Lots and lots of tickles
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Mimenems (M&Ms)
- Sticker Bars (Snicker Bars)
- Her Brother
- Backyardigans
- Tinkerbell
- Gravy
- Shoes

Linsey can...
- Feed herself
- Use the potty (completely trained!)
- Dress herself and get it mostly right without help
- Drain a sippy cup in less than 5 minutes
- count to 10 (including 5!)
- Say her full name and address
- sing Itsy Bitsy Spider

Linsey says...
- When I get big, I will...(fill in appropriate activity)
- It's Telicious!
- I love it!
- It's Beautiful!


Nicholas is 1.

Nick loves...
- Daddy
- His Sister
- Mashed Potatoes
- French Fries
- Macaroni & Cheese
- Pillow Diving
- eating bits of anything he finds
- Bath

Nick can...
- Walk!
- Clap
- Smooch
- Hug
- Growl
- Point
- Feed himself finger foods
- Put anything he finds in his mouth and have it half chewed before we can get across the room.
- Shake is head "no, no, no" on his sister's command while giggling

Nick says...
- Da!
- Bubba
- Baby
and on very rare occasions -
- Mama
- Sissy
- Icky

It's all uphill from here.
